     "Cranberries" was painted from life under natural light in my Tucson, AZ studio.  I was immediately struck by the rich saturation the red cranberries instantly revealed under the north lit skylight.  The subtelty of the various reds was a pleasure to spend time investigating, deep looking allows me to understand the range of color that nature provided. 

      The materials used are museum quality, and the utmost care and respect to traditional practices has been considered in each step during the making of the work.  The work is sold unframed, if you would like a frame, I would be happy to discuss options, or recommend a high-quality frame maker.
